Who it was for: AECOM High Performance Building Engineering team
Objective: Highlight the innovative but often overlooked technical work performed by this team and “make them cool.”
Concept: A virtual project tour of the Inland Empire Transportation Management Center, an essential services facility designed to continue operating in the case of a catastrophic earthquake, to save energy and water, and to be a comfortable work environment. Use clickable buttons to highlight features in the categories of “seismic,” “sustainable,” and “user-friendly.” Use colorful phrases like “vampire-proof” (in reference to natural daylight) to engage the user.
What I did: Ideated, wrote, and produced this piece in collaboration with the project team, a graphic designer, and a web developer.
